Almost everyone has some type of weight issue.  Too fat?  Out of shape?  Too skinny?  Not enough muscle? 
 
We all have different body issues.  We were born that way.  Resolving your weight issue is about you being healthy and happy with your body and your life.  
 
Resolving the weight issue has brought some people to take extreme actions.  Puking after a meal, starvation dieting, too much or the wrong kind of exercise, drugs, laxatives and nutritional supplement overdose.  Those are desperate actions of desperate people.  Feeling tired and run down, fatigue, is a common symptom of your body not getting what it wants when it needs it.  But there is more than one way around the barn.  I’ll help you find the other, results oriented and healthy way. 
 
The first step is to record your starting point. Where are you physically? That story is told in  pictures and measurements and tests of your body. 
 
The second step.  Create your action plan to look and feel better. Decide what you plan to do about what you see in your pictures, measurements and test results so the next set of results will show a healthy change in your body.
 
Third, do something everyday that is on your action plan.
 

     Let yourself be photographed in revealing clothing.  Be photographed standing up, sitting down, front, back and sideways.  These pictures will help you see a real image of yourself.  Pictures are reduced to such a smaller size than looking into a mirror.  You actually can see the “big picture”.  Whereas looking into a mirror lets you see only a small portion of your body at one time, wherever your eyes focus.  Then your brain attempts to put all the “small pictures” together and usually distorts what is really there.  An anorexic person looks at themselves and sees fat.  A fat person can look at themselves after dropping a couple pounds and see themselves as skinny.  You need factual information about your body.  You need to see how you really look to other people so you can work with what you've got and let your personality show in photos.  
 

   Buy yourself a cheap notebook to write down your thoughts and feelings and actions.  Write down your level of energy using a scale of 1-5.  1 is low energy and 5 is high energy. Take note of what do you want to achieve to help you look and feel your best.  Write down what you did today on your goal.  A little bit of action is better than none at all.

 

    Prioritize what part of your action plan you are doing first.  Behavior changes take a lot of mental energy. Each day your energy is a finite commodity which is why you need to focus on a step by step approach.  Brain scans show a lot of activity is happening when you first begin to learn something new.  A habit is when the brain activity is reduced to a few, short, neuron pathways and energy use is reduced while you do the action.  Habits are easy to perform.  It's the learning them that takes patience and repetition.   Hypnosis can help. Trying to implement all the changes at one time doesn’t work.  Success at the whole action plan means implementing one step at a time.  Repeat that step daily until it is automatic.  Then you can maintain that behavior while learning the next step. Hypnosis can speed the process.
